2021 Pax Fanuchi-Wood Road Vineyard Trousseau Gris, California $25.99
"Stone fruit, quince and delicate floral aromas frame this delicious slightly pink wine. Balanced and delicious this 2021 is our most drinkable Trousseau Gris yet. Delicate and light, this delicious alpine-styled white wine has mouth-watering acidity and delicate stone fruit flavors. Lip-smacking and crushable you will want this in your glass while eating oysters overlooking the ocean or snacking on potato chips gazing into your television, and every other opportunity in between that calls for a smile."
2021 Evening Land Seven Springs Gamay, Willamette Valley, Oregon $31.99
In the glass, the wine’s beautiful purple core fans out to a magenta-hued rim, leading to lifted aromas of black cherry, red fruit, and peony. On the palate, crunchy flavors of cranberry, hard red candies, ample white pepper, rose petal, and hints of dried herbs lead to a brisk and punchy finish. Think of it like Beaujolais meets cool-climate, New World fruit in the best way possible. Serve chilled.
2022 Evening Land Estate Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon $42.99
Sourced from the oldest (36 years old) own-rooted block in Seven Springs Vineyard. • Pommard clones. • Iron-rich, volcanic ‘Jory’ soils. • 10% Whole Cluster. • Fermented in open-top concrete and oak fermenters. • Indigenous Yeast. • Aged 12 months in neutral French oak & 7 months in concrete.
2021 Railsback Le Carignan, Santa Maria, California $28.99
We were inspired by the sommelier cult producer, Maxime Magnon, and Beaujolais’ Gang of Four in Morgon, and sought whole-cluster Carignan made with partial carbonic maceration, delivering a juicy-fruited, crushable red that is best served chilled or at cellar temperature. We are excited to find 2021 to be our best Carignan yet, an easy-drinking, light-bodied, fresh red that's loaded with flavors of plum, cranberry, baking spices, and sandalwood. It has a pronounced “umami” salinity from the nearby ocean air, and a luminosity from the 2021 vintage that makes it a perfect match for saucisson, charcuterie, and of course the ubiquitous burger or pizza night!
2019 Railsback Comme Vous Voulais, Santa Barbara, California $31.99
The punchiness of the whole-cluster Syrah was inspired by Eric and Lyle’s favorite producers in the Northern Rhône, and the aromatics of earlier-harvested Grenache transport them to their favorite estates in the Southern Rhône. Blended together in equal parts, the best attributes of these top top vineyard sites in the region offer a red that epitomizes everything there is to love about the Central Coast.
A red wine for all seasons, you can drink it with spit-roasted lamb or grilled steaks, line-caught wild salmon, or even a simple Tuesday dinner of pasta in red sauce, a perfect green salad, and plenty of garlic toasts.
2022 Redolent Wine Company Sister From Another Mister, Willamette Valley, Oregon $29.99
This wine of America is really a wine of the Pacific Northwest, and most specifically, a wine of the Columbia River Gorge. It is made from Syrah grapes grown on the steep mountain slopes of Mt. Hood and Sangiovese grapes grown along the Columbia River. This wine high fives hearty dishes.
Aromas of black cherry, blackberries, red currant, raspberry, mint, hints of dried herbs, subtle violets and lavender notes lead into flavors of white cranberry, ripe wild strawberry, red cherry, green olive tapenade, grilled herbs, earthy undertones with a touch of fennel root, all guided by lively acidity, a solid structure and robust, grippy tannins.
