2022 Xarmant Txakolina (Arabako), Spain $21.99
In Spain’s coastal Basque Country, “Xarmant” (char-mant) means ‘charming’ and txakoli is the joyous, light, white wine shared amongst friends with northern Spain’s legendary cuisine. Xarmant is made from the highest quality, sustainably-farmed, estate vineyards from the verdant Amurrio valley in the Basque Country, close to the Bay of Biscay on Spain’s rugged, green northern coast. Its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean creates a unique, ideal microclimate to produce this ‘charming’ wine.

2022 Ameztoi Txakolina Rose `rubentis` (Getariako), Spain $25.99
Rubentis, the region’s first pink wine, was inspired by the historic claret-style wines which were once produced in the area long before the current global craze made rosé famous. The backbone of the blend comes from an old Hondarribi Beltza vineyard planted in 1840 and preserved by the Ameztoi family for generations. Ameztoi Rubentis is an authentic original, a wine that is often imitated but never replicated.

2022 Txomin Etxaniz Txakolina (Getariako), Spain $25.99
A lively white blend from the south of France made from Grenache Blanc, Chardonnay and Vermentino. This family estate located in the Costières de Nîmes takes its name from a wild, aromatic herb called “La Patience” that can be found throughout the vineyard.

2022 Txomin Etxaniz Txakolina Rose (Getariako), Spain $27.99
Made up almost entirely of Hondarrabi Zuri, with the remaining Hondarrabi Beltza, the grapes come from Ametz Mendi and a handful of other historic vineyards within Getaria of Getariako Txakolina DO. The vines were planted from 1915 to 2000 upon beds of sandy, chalky loam. The winery sorts and selects for the healthiest grapes. Following a cold maceration, the grapes are destemmed and pressed in a closed pneumatic press. The fermentation is done by selected indigenous yeast and is maintained at very low temperatures to retain some dissolved CO2. The wine ages for six months in stainless steel sur lie before bottling.

2022 Mokoroa Txakoli White Wine, Getariako Txakolina, Spain $17.99
Blend: Hondarribi Zuri and a little Chardonnay

Taste: A blend of predominantly Hondarrabi Zuri and a subtle infusion of Chardonnay, this Txakoli wine boasts high acidity, salinity, and an intriguing minerality that gives it its refreshingly clean taste. White peach, green apple, citrus and white flowers lead to the fresh, tangy essence of the Basque coast - slightly chalky, suffused with hints of citrus, reminiscent of the ocean breeze that caresses its vines.

2020 Can Sumoi Sumoll Garnatxa, Spain 24.99
Intense aromas of wild fruits and Mediterranean forest herbs lead to a fine, light, and elegant palate full of fruity flavors that linger on the long finish.

Blend: 50% Sumoll, 50% Garnatxa
