Aquitaine Wines is a new venture founded by long-term wine enthusiast Neil Perry.

When Neil was dreaming about following his real passion in life, he had one clear mission in mind… to search out and curate Artisan wine producers and bring their wines to an audience that is both eager to listen to stories and learn about the healthy life-giving properties of their products.

SouthWest France is a hidden gem when it comes to wine producers with heritage.  Neil’s relationship with the area and its producers began over 20 years ago and we cannot wait to bring them to your attention for the first time.

NV Calvet Cremant de Bordeaux Brut Rose, Bordeaux, France $19.99
Brilliant salmon robe. Elegant nose of raspberries and cassis. Very fine and persistent pinpoint bubbles that tease the mouth and lovely finish of crisp, round, fruity flavors. Enjoy Calvet Brut Rose any time as an aperitif, cocktail blend, brunch libation or at any cause for celebration.

2018 Chateau Haut-Colombier, Blaye Cote de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France $19.99
This wine is an assembly of wonderful diverse terroirs of the Château mixing grape varieties of Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon for a fruity wine mixing the roasting aromas. The nose exhibits perfumes of mocha, vanilla and toast. The mouth is rich with notes of ripened fruits.

This is a delicate wine, perfect to drink with roasted lamb and with aged cheeses.

2018 Chateau Langlet Graves Rouge, Bordeaux, France $22.99
Deep red color. An expressive nose with soft Merlot aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry, lightly toasted. The palate is velvety and fleshy with ripe powerful tannins. The finish is long well- rounded and hearty.

Varietal Composition: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

2017 Chateau Coutet, St. Emillion, Bordeaux, France $42.99

Dense ruby-purple color. Smoky nose with complex ripe black fruits and spicy aromas. Rich in the mouth with intense fruit flavors, powerful tannins, and a nice long finish. An impressive, bold wine that can be enjoyed today or aged for 10 years.

2019 Chateau Lalande St Julien, Bordeaux, France $44.99
This estate, one of the relatively few in Saint-Julien that is not classified (and therefore good value), has produced a young and structured wine that is very much in the understated style of Saint-Julien. Its fruits and ripe tannins promise great things. Smoky and rich, the wine will be ready from 2026.
Bright, intense ruby color. Elegant nose of crushed red black berry fruit, spices and a hint of vanilla. Rich and round in the mouth with a touch of freshness. Soft well-integrated tannins and a long finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

2014 La Chapelle de Meyney St Estephe, Bordeaux, France $39.99
Chapelle de Meyney ("the Chapel of Meyney") is the second wine of Chateau Meyney, one of the oldest estates in the Medoc of Bordeaux. This exceptional wine has a deep ruby color and aromas of black berries, licorice, brioche buns and sweet spices. Rich and fruity in the mouth.  A blend, with half Cabernet Sauvignon.

This elegant wine pairs with poultry, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
