NV Clos Roussely "Favorite Bubbles" Brut, Loire Valley, France $18.99
This traditional method blanc de blancs is elegant and fresh on the nose and palate.  Light brioche and baked apple on the nose, the palate has refined bubbles and rich toasty almond butter croissant flavours with lemon curd and some baking spice.  Dry with nice persistence on the finish.  Enjoy as an aperitif, with shellfish or a bowl of sea salt chips or buttered popcorn on movie night!

Vincent Roussely is the fourth-generation winemaker at his family’s beautiful 8-hectare vineyard site in the heart of Chenonceaux, in the village of Angé on the Cher River, in the Loire Valley.  The vineyards have been certified organic since 2007.  He even transitioned vineyard work from machine and horse to doing all everything by hand in order to have the least impact on the soil, vines and grapes which he believes greatly improved the quality of the wines.

2022 Marc Delienne Le Petit Nat Sparkling Rose, Beaujolais, France $45.99
100% Gamay
A pale pink in the glass with delicate aromas of pink apple, bosc pear, marzipan and dried apricot; fresh pink flowers and citruses on the palate, impressively lightweight and delicate. Drink with a variety of light, fresh cheeses.
Marc Delienne bought a property in Fleurie in January 2015 to create his new business there. A quickly built vat, the conversion to organic is immediately started in order to acquire organic certification as soon as possible.

2022 Domaine Mabillot Reuilly Blanc, Loire Valley, France $30.99
Domaine Mabillot is located in Sainte-Lizaigne, in the Reuilly appellation in the Loire Valley. The estate was created in the 1990s by Alain Mabillot and is now managed by his two sons Matthieu and Renaud . The vineyard, led in reasoned fight , extends on 8 hectares.

Reuilly Blanc is made from Sauvignon Blanc from a 5.5 hectare plot located in the localities of Montcocu and Les Lignis. The grapes are pressed directly at low pressure followed by cold settling for 24 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and the wine is aged on fine lees with stirring for 5 months .
This Sauvignon Blanc is beautifully aromatic and vibrant. The palate is generously fruity with vibrant bursts of acidity and a refreshingly balanced finish. A wine to savour and enjoy with fish and seafood or goats cheese salad.

2022 Domaine De La Combe Au Mas Rico Rose, Ventoux, France $27.99
80% Grenache, 20% Syrah; direct pressing, 36-hour settling, - aged 1 month in an amphora. Vinified and aged without sulfur, with a light sulphiting at bottling. A beautiful color, filled with bright apricot and the velvet essence of grape skin and soil. A wonderful aperitif or light food companion.

From the Importer Jeffrey Alpert Selections: Thomas Ayoun and Marie-Sophie Jullien have proudly brought attention the Ayoun family mas at Domaine de la Combe au Mas.

2022 Domaine De La Combe Au Mas Rigaou, Ventoux, France $25.99
Grapes: 80% Syrah and 20% of the ends of press juices of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Vermentino and Clairette
Thomas Ayoun and Marie-Sophie Jullien have proudly brought attention the Ayoun family mas at Domaine de la Combe au Mas. Located at the foot of Mont Ventoux in the commune of Mormoiron, Thomas and Marie- Sophie farm their 8 hectares according to a philosophy that emphasizes organics, polyculture, and biodiversity.  All grapes are harvested entirely by hand, ferment using native yeasts only, and mature in century-old amphorae that Thomas sourced from the south of Spain.

2022 Jouves & Croisille "J & C" Malbec, Cahors, France $18.99
This project is the brainchild of longtime friends Fabien Jouves, Germain Croisille and his brother Simon. Together the families have about 30 hectares of farm where they practice both organic and biodynamic farming.

As the new faces of cahors - they feel it’s their responsibility to show the
world the true expression of cahors and the real beauty of malbec, pure
and unadulterated.

2020 Domaine Guion Cuvee Candide Bourgueil, Loire Valley, France $29.99
This is another beautiful wine from the shy and affable Stéphane Guion who is quietly making some of the best wines in Bourgueil. His 2020 Cuvèe Candide (Formerly Domaine) is from not-so-young (15 to 40 year-old) vines, on clay/limestone terroir in Benais and is equal to the superb 2018 and 2019 perhaps even better! The balance is just perfect at 12% alcohol. The wine shows a deep, vivid black/red color with bright rim with intense, pure aromas of cassis, black raspberry and blackberry confit (a little bighter than the 2019), stone and violets - very deep and ripe but still bright with earth and minerals as well. The palate is medium-bodied, finely textured, sappy and very fresh with firm acidity and chalky, saline mineral flavors framing the very pure blackberry and black cherry liqueur fruits, which continue in the long chalky finish, which somehow remains light and balanced. Great wine!
