2000 Bodegas Berceo, Cava Brut Nature Método Tradicional, Spain $16.99
Varieties
Xarel·lo, Macabeo y Parellada
High intensity aroma dominated by citrus fruit (lemon, grapefruit) and dairy, autolytic and honey aromas of aging in bottle are distinguished.  On the palate, this wine is fresh, fruity and pleasant with balanced acidity and very good aromatic persistence.
Bodegas Berceo was founded in 1872, being the oldest winery in the City of Haro, heart of the winemaking area of Rioja, and the only vertical-designed winery from that time that still remains operational.

2021 Bodegas del Palacio de Fefinanes, Palacio de Fefinanes Albariño, Rías Baixas, Spain $27.99
Palacio de Fefiñanes was the first producer to bottle wine under the D.O. Rias Baixas, to say they put the region on the map is not quite a stretch. Fefinanes’s rich history dates all the way back to the 17th Century when it was created by viscount of Fefiñanes Gonzalo Sarmiento Valladares.  The grapes that go into the wines for Fefiñanes are sourced from extremely old vines, 40 years of age, some of the vines are over 100 years old. The subsoil in the vineyards is clay and limestone, similar to certain areas of the Loire.

2021 Adegas Valmiñor Albariño, Rías Baixas, Spain $27.99
It is intense in the nose, reminds of green apple, pear, apricot and a touch of white flowers. In the mouth it highlights its freshness, wideness and intensity. It is long, unctuous and with fruity memories after taste.

Critical Acclaim
JS91James Suckling
Attractive aromas of white peaches, lemons, green pears and white flowers with salty undertones. Medium-bodied with bright acidity and a refreshing, saline yet creamy palate.

2016 Finca Allende, Rioja, Spain $34.99
Allende Rioja is a refined and traditional Spanish red, reflecting the best of the Rioja region. It greets with aromas of red berries, cedar, and a touch of tobacco. The palate reveals flavors of cherry, vanilla, and well-integrated oak, with polished tannins and a long and smooth finish, displaying the wine's remarkable aging potential.

2018 Palacios Remondo La Montesa, Rioja, Spain $26.99
Juicy and lush, with notes of cherry, raspberry and orange peel that meld with Mediterranean herbal undertones to create a wine that is balanced, bright and lively.

Critical Acclaim
RP93Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The quality/price champion 2018 La Montesa is now 100% Garnacha from organically farmed vineyards from the 100-hectare family property that gives the wine its name. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats and matured in barriques, 85% of them produced with French oak and the rest with American oak. It feels very young, and the oak is still present; and the American oak, which is spicy and smoky, with ashy incense and vanilla with some sweet undertones, gives it a character that brings back the character of the traditional wines from yesteryear in a very clean way. It has vibrant freshness and should develop nicely with a couple of years in bottle. Rating: 93+

2019 Quinta Sardonia, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León Sardón, Spain $18.99
While the 2019 was challenging vintage from a winemaker’s perspective, the 2019 Sardon is fresh, floral and light on the nose with pronounced notes of raspberries and other red forest fruit. On the palate, the wine is long, with good acidity and noticeable minerality. Subtle and juicy through to the finish, the lively, yet well-balanced tannins will make this wine one that will pair well with a variety of pasta dishes, bar-b-que and/or roasted meats, blue fish, cured or soft cheeses and of course, by itself right from the glass!

Blend: 96% Tempranillo, 3% Garnacha and a 1% blend of Albillo, Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon
