2021 Alleme Txakolina, Getariako Txakolina, Spain $23.99
A very fruity, crisp and clean white from Spain's Basque Country with a slight spritz (due to fermentation), citrus and exotic fruits, mineral and floral notes. Good balance and bright acidity.
Enjoy with olives, anchovies, seafood - shrimp, calamari, scallops, and sushi.

On the southern edge of the rocky Bay of Biscay in northern Spain, this is Basque country and home to the refreshing and slightly effervescent (usually) white wine, Txakoli. Three subregions compose the larger one: Getariako Txakolina, Bizkaiko Txakolina and Arabako Txakolina. While Hondarribi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza are the main grape varieties, other French varieties are scattered throughout the region.

2022 Hugl Weine Gruner Veltliner, Austria $17.99

2022 Jean Reverdy "Les Viollots" Sancerre Rose, Loire Valley, France $29.99
100% Pinot Noir from 90% press wine & 10% saignee from the Pinot Noir Rouge.
"Vivid orange-pink. Fresh strawberry, tangerine and floral scents are sharpened by a frisson of chalky minerality. Clean and racy on the palate, showing fine clarity to the red berry and citrus fruit flavors. Finishes minerally and dry, showing energetic lift and strong, mineral- and floral-driven persistence. - Josh Raynolds"
Domaine Jean Reverdy is located in Verdigny, one of the top villages in Sancerre.  The domaine dates back to 1650 and has been in the family for about 10 generations. Owner Christophe Reverdy, son of the late Jean Reverdy, now produces around 100,000 bottles per year on average and exports 70% of the total production.

2020 Alaine Jume Grand Veneur Cotes Du Rhone, Rhone Valley, France $18.99
Wine Advocate
"The 2020 Cotes du Rhone—formerly released under the Reserve label—delivers plenty of raspberry, cherry and strawberry fruit on the nose and palate. Medium to full-bodied, it's supple, silky and immensely pleasurable, just good, solid fruit-driven fun in a glass."
The quality here is unsurprising, because the Jaume family consistently puts their name on wines of outstanding quality at every price point.  Here organically grown Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault are destemmed, fermented with native yeasts, and allowed to come together in tank. The results are bold, fleshy, and satisfyingly complex.

2020 Chakana Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina $29.99
Critical Acclaim
V93Vinous
The 2020 Malbec Chakana Estate Selection (from Paraje Altamira & Gualtallary, Uco Valley) was a third aged in used barrels and a third in foudres. A mild purple hue. The nose presents gentle notes of fresh plum, violets and hints of thyme over a pleasant bed of oak. Indulgent with slightly reactive tannins, the flow is juicy and fairly compact.
RP90Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
2020 was a warm and dry year with ripe grapes, but they managed to keep the 2020 Estate Selection Malbec quite balanced and fresh. It has a fruit-driven profile with clean fruit and some fine tannins. This matured in neutral and larger oak containers for 12 months.

2021 Luis XIV Anforas Anforas Alicante, Spain $29.99
60% Monastrell, 30% Arcos and 10% Bonicaire
Wine was aged 4 months in ceramic amphorae, made of clay from Villarrobledo cooked in old wood ovens.

Bright ruby color with violet hues. On the nose it is very intense and fresh, transmitting all the varietal authenticity of the Monastrell, Arcos and Bonicaire. On the palate, the purity of the fresh fruit stands out, with a light, velvety, fluid and persistent. It is a medium-bodied wine with very fine tannins.
Due to its delicacy, it is a very appropriate wine for different dishes. Especially for tapas (fried fish, salads) and rice dishes (paella, arròs al forn, rabbit and snail rice, arròs a banda, caldero ...).

NV Luis XIV Vermut, Spain $23.99
Luis XIV Vermut NV is made from 100% Monastrell (Mourvedre). Light brown color and orange tile rim, with medium intensity. On the nose, the warm aromas of dried fruits (hazelnuts, toasted marcona almonds) and very old noble wood stand out. In the mouth, it is almost dry, friendly and very enveloping.
