2022 Maison les Alexandrins Viognier, Rhone Valley, France $15.99
Pretty pale yellow colour with subtle golden reflections. This wine opens up with a precise and very aromatic nose, characteristic of Viognier grape variety, with notes of citrus and exotic fruit. Perfectly balanced on the palate, it reveals a beautiful freshness and a very present acidity which gives it a very "Northern" character.
2021 Vincent Girardin Cuvee Saint-Vincent Bourgogne Rouge, Burgundy, France $29.99
History: Vincent Girardin is a highly regarded Burgundy domaine based in Meursault. It makes a wide range of wines from both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay although the latter predominates. Most holdings span the Côte de Beaune, from grand cru sites such as Le Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne, through premiers crus in Chassagne and Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Santenay, all the way down to vineyards at village-level and regional appellations.
Tasting Notes:
A rich wine with general notes of red fruits. Elegant nose with aromas of small red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry). On the palate, supple entry and silky tannins. Good power.
2021 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Bourgogne Gamay Les Deaux Terres, Burgundy, France $34.99
This cuvée is a blend of Beaujolais and Bourgogne, of Gamay and Pinot Noir to be precise. This explains the name, “Les Deux Terres”, meaning “The Two Lands”. This combination results in a wine with the finesse and distinction of Pinot Noir and the delicious indulgence of Gamay.
TERROIR
Every year, we select the best grapes from the different estates with which we work, before deciding on the blending of our Beaujolais, Burgundy Pinot Noir and Hautes Côte de Nuits terroirs. With each vintage, we change the blend of these wines depending on the quality of the harvest. Our sole objective is to produce the best blend with the best balance between Gamay and Pinot Noir.

2021 Famille Perrin Cotes du Rhone Reserve, Rhone Valley, France $14.99
Classic Côtes du Rhône. Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, it’s a great everyday wine made almost exclusively from our Grand Prébois vineyards (for the Grenache) and our Vinsobres vineyards (for the Syrah). A beautiful wine you should always have around!
2021 Famille Perrin Vinsobres Les Cornuds, Rhone Valley, France $19.99
Superb deep ruby-red color. Powerful and complex, the nose shows notes of spices, black fruit, liquorice and a hint of fennel. Elegant and perfectly balanced by a beautiful freshness, the mouth offers a full and silky texture with aromas of spices, pepper and cloves.
Serve with red meats and casseroles
Blend:50% Grenache, 50% Syrah
2022 Maison Les Alexandrins Syrah, Rhone Valley, France $15.99
While you might whimsically call the Maison Les Alexandrins Syrah a baby Cote Rotie as a marketing ploy, this wine is no baby. It is a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier, fermented and aged in a mix of stainless steel to retain freshness, and wooden barrels to add earthy complexity and tannins. In the glass you will find a pleasantly inky, deep red robe. The bouquet offers up a mix of cherries, red currant, black caps, dusty white pepper, mineral and violets. On the palate this wine shows it has stuffing, the Viognier gives it a richness and lifts the red berry flavors to new heights. Supple, well rounded tannins and dry finish makes this a great fall wine. Pair it up with your next beef bourguigen, standing rib roast, wild mushroom strudel or sharp cheeses.
