Our story begins in the 1980s in worlds far apart but not that different. Olivier Richard was born in the Northern Rhone and grew up in a family of winemakers, and so Saint Joseph and Syrah flowed through in his DNA...

2023 Stephen Rocher Lemon Tree Chenin Blanc, Loire Valley, France $23.99
100% Chenin Blanc from 80% young vines and 20% old vines planted on a red schist with tangy notes that immediately bring to mind a lemon meringue pie. Aromatic, fresh, delicately mellow, with citrus notes, lovely acidity, and a finish softened by a hint of residual sugar.

2023 Stephen Rocher Petits Cailloux Blanc, Loire Valley, France $22.99
It is a real pleasure to taste this vintage from old Chenin vines planted on a volcanic terroir (spilite). Stéphane Rocher offers us a real goldsmith's work as this wine shines with its minerality, its amplitude and a chiseled and straight style! Note that part of the vintage is aged in sandstone jars.

Yet another illustration of the potential of this magnificent grape variety, Chenin, on the beautiful terroirs of Anjou, with a storage capacity that easily exceeds 10 years...

2023 Stephen Rocher Petits Cailloux Rouge, Loire Valley, France $22.99
Light red wine with notes of red berries, wild strawberries, and rhubarb. Fruity and light structure on the finish. Serve slightly chilled as an apertif or at room temperature to pair with all types of dishes.

After completing a winemaking course in Montreuil back in 2008, Stéphane decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and head back to his roots in Anjou🍃🍇 He purchased a farm that included a winery and a house set on 2 hectares of rolling hills 🏡 While renovating his new property, Stéphane worked as a caviste in Anjou and began to purchase additional hectares of vines, until he could finally focus completely on his own vineyards and making his own wine 🍷

2022 Vignerons D`Estezargues Carambouille, Rhone Valley, France $16.99
Varietals: 65% Cinsault, 32% Carignan, 3% Grenache
Farming: Organic
The palate is round, fresh, crunchy, with a supple and delectable substance, bursting with fruit... and a high risk of addiction. The deliciously naughty grip on the finish doesn't help matters: the fruit and freshness go up a notch, as does the gluttony. Warning, dangerous product! For anyone looking for a chillable, crushable delicious red to consume during warm weather – look no further.
No commercial yeast, no enzymes, no gum arabic, no acidifiers, and also almost no sulfur. Aged 6 months in concrete.

2022 Vignerons D`Estezargues Cotes Du Rhone Rouge, Rhone Valley, France $16.99
Grape: Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah
Estézargues was established in 1965 and, as early as the 1980s, shifted towards natural winemaking thanks to the arrival of Jean-François Nicq, a talented winemaker influenced by the ideas of natural wine legends like Marcel Lapierre. Nicq (now making wine in his own boutique Domaine des Foulards Rouges in Roussillon) put the cave firmly on track towards respectful farming and practically no additives in the cellar.
