The Wines:

2022 Domaine Matrot Bourgogne Blanc, Burgundy, France $35.99
The grapes for this Chardonnay are picked near the appellation of
Meursault. It is fruity and round and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or
as an accompaniment to charcuterie, chicken, and grilled fish. A great
wine to enjoy with friends.
Average Age of the Vines: 30 years
Indigenous yeasts
Fermentation for 8-10 weeks in oak barrels, 15-20% new
 Maturing on lees for 11 months



2022 Matrot Meursault Blanc, Burgundy, France $86.99
We blend 12 plots in order to make a classic representative Meursault
wine. A pure wine with character, often described as a sweet and dry
wine. It has hints of yellow fruit with a citrus finish.
Average Age of the Vines: 35 years
Hand-harvested (date determined by ripeness levels).
Entire grapes pressed in a pneumatic press.
24h decanting, followed by settling and putting into barrels.
Natural yeasts.
Complete malolactic fermentation
One month in steel vats to prepare the wine for bottling.



2022 Matrot Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Burgundy, France $37.99
Coming from a selection of vines located in Puligny Montrachet and
Meursault, this wine is dominated by notes of fresh and sweet red
fruits. It is juicy with soft tannins. Best tasted young.
Average Age of the Vines: 15 years
Complete destemming.
Natural yeasts
15 months maturing on lees in oak barrels, of which 10% are
new oak.
3 months in a steel vat to prepare the wine for bottling



2022 Matrot Maranges Vv, Burgundy, France $39.99
The most southern appellation of the Côte de Beaune. The vines are
planted on steep marly limestone slopes facing southeast. A robust wine
full of character, with rich fruity aromas. A concentration of red fruit
and peppery notes.
Average Age of the Vines: 30 years
Complete destemming.
Natural yeasts
15 months maturing on lees in oak barrels, of which 10% are
new oak.
3 months in a steel vat to prepare the wine for bottling

2022 Matrot Meursault Rouge, Burgundy, France $59.99
The grapes are harvested in two plots at the bottom of the Volnay
Santenots slopes. The wine is structured and powerful but retains the
elegance and fruit purity of a Pinot Noir. It has a fleshy black fruits
palate, with a bold structure that will soften after a few years in the
bottle
Average Age of the Vines: 20 years
Complete destemming.
Natural yeasts.
15 months maturing on lees in oak barrels of which 20% are
new oak.
3 months in a steel vat to prepare the wine for bottling
